Your Body is Not an Apology

Your body is not an apology

This month, we want to shine a light on something we loved, that connected with us and helped us get through January.

This is a book we loved that everyone can read in lockdown. “The body is not an apology” by Sonya Renee Taylor, is about the power of radical self-love.
Sometimes it’s difficult to even know where to start when it comes to self-love. We’re bombarded every day with unrealistic body images and unattainable beauty standards, and at the same time we’re being constantly told to love ourselves with no actual visual representation of ourselves! This book opens us up to the concept that our bodies are so much more than the sum of their parts, and helps us to think differently about them and understand how to start loving oneself.

If reading isn’t for you, our Peachy pockets are perfect for your phone, so you can listen to it on one of your walks.
